Often in our lives we feel frightened when it comes to doing what we love and therefore we are taking no action, or ones which come from fear. This Sunday we have an audio recording to help you to dive deep and see what it is that you would actually be doing, if fear did not dictate your life.
We have a soÜlution task for you, beautiful souls.
You will need pen, your journal/notepad or a sheet of paper and a timer.
Find a quiet place, where you are not going to be disturbed.
Sit down...Set the alarm for 1 minute and use these 60 seconds to relax.
Take few deep breaths and center your self. Feel your heartbeat. Focus on your breath. Make sure your back is straight.
When your 1 minute is over set the alarm for another 7 minutes.
Now please write down the following question.
“ What actions would I take If I did not let fear dictate my life ? “
You have until your alarm rings. Write everything that is coming to your mind. What actions you would take, simply what would you do if your fear wasn’t standing in your way.
If you feel that some emotions are trying to reach surface, your conscious mind, please do not suppress anything. Let emotions come to you. You might feel like laughing or you might feel little bit sad with tears running down your face. But remember this is all good. You are clearing something that is blocking you to step forward in order to reach your dream, no matter what kind, how big or small. You are able to see what you deep inside feel you should do and you probably even wrote exact steps for achieving it. You are seeing the truth you were hiding inside.
At the end of your 7 minutes please take a deep breath three times.
Repeat this exercise any time you feel you need to uncover what you really want without being conditioned by fear such as you mind telling you are are not able to do certain things or that you are unworthy.
And all of these negative, self criticizing thoughts, are just our minds trying so hard to make us stay inactive.
Do you feel like you can change this? Now it is time to overcome your fears and start to live! Look at what you’ve written and see what your first step could be and finally take some action, even a little step will fill you with energy which will keep you going.
