“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”
~ Albert Einstein
Treat everything like it’s a miracle. Connect yourself to the source of all. Begin a love affair with nature and life. Don’t treat life as an enemy, an obstacle, a means to an end, or take any moment for granted. Become life’s attentive lover and allow her to fully flow through you, and into all you do. Be one with life and let her live through you. Celebrate, trust and love life and her perfect imperfections in whatever form she comes. Welcome her in with whichever gifts she brings, each present moment.
Eckhart Tolle feels that “When the basis of your actions is inner alignment with the present moment, your actions become empowered by the intelligence of life itself.” Keep asking yourself “What is my relationship with the present moment?” You are the present. When life and you are one and you fully love life, you fully love you. View life as your lover, full of surprises and challenges. She never judges you. Accept her as she is and be present and one with her. How could you resist her? She keeps reminding you to not take yourself or her too seriously. On each in breath she takes on ephemeral, fleeting forms, which on every outbreath are gone. When she shows up in whatever form, serve her as she serves you. Say ‘YES’ to her. Spend as much time with her present as possible.
Although too undervalued, research suggests that practicing genuine gratitude can greatly improve your health and happiness. There is always so much to acknowledge; loved ones, a baby’s smile, every organ, tissue and cell of your tremendous body, the beauty of nature, the life force within you.... Energy follows thought so shift your focus to the ways in which you are healthy. Use gratitude to raise your vibration.
Keep a gratitude journal, every evening write at least four of the things you were most grateful for that day. Before you go to sleep every night, make a quick gratitude list, and when you wake up every morning do the same, it will boost your vibration for the day ahead. Feeling gratitude could be seen as a form of meditation. Thoughts and emotions are energy, so focusing on what you are grateful for, creates more of it. Let gratitude echo back to you. As Maya Angelou said “love life, engage in it, give it all you’ve got, love it with a passion, because life truly does give back, many times over, what you put into it.”
Genuine feelings and thoughts of gratitude shield you from stress. Gratitude dissipates fear, replaces it with peace and clarity, and can help you surmount anything. Grateful people tend to heal faster. Appreciate everyday things more. To not be grateful is to be in denial, but ideally be unreasonably grateful for no reason. Send love and gratitude to foods, water, air, sun, nature.... This has a profound effect on your body. Notice the abundance of health, aliveness and vitality in surrounding nature. There is an overwhelming abundance of beauty and vitality within nature...a spacious cloudless sky, your breath, the warmth of the sun, the aliveness in your hands.... Be grateful for and enjoy your transformation. Our continuous rise in consciousness is a felt experience to always be thankful for.
