“Let food be your medicine and medicine your food.” ~ Hippocrates
Love yourself, respect your body and give it the best food you can; alive, ripe, local, seasonal, organic. As they say; “you are what you eat”, and “your body is your temple”. In your heart you know that eating unnatural, commercialised junk food does not make any sense. Start eating for optimum health. Choose real food over fake food. Dead food makes up a huge part of our diets. We have replaced living foods with energetically inert weakened substances. Avoid denatured and chemicalized foods. Favour foods from the womb of the earth.
Vibration is life itself. As well as with other beautiful life experiences, nourish yourself through the purest of foods. Eat a diet rich in leafy greens, beans, seeds, certain mushrooms and a rainbow of vibrantly coloured vegetables, raw or steamed, and not microwaved, fried or barbecued. Food is vibrational energy. Each kind of food has a certain vibration, influencing that of your cells, tissues and organs. Our lives are overall so much better when we nourish our physical bodies with foods which resonate with us, supporting our trillions of cells to vibrate harmoniously.
We’re a species which has lost its natural diet. We don’t know how to nourish ourselves best. The major cause and maintaining factor of dis-eases such as cancer, is our widespread addiction to unnatural food. If in doubt don’t eat it, eliminate all potentially harmful foods. Once free from all addictions (sugar, caffeine, refined carbs, salt...) the foods we crave become natural, simple and nutritious. We are left with food from nature. Louise Hay’s “If it grows eat it. If it doesn’t grow don’t eat it” is a great rule.
As humans we have been very good at imposing unsubtle changes which have, slowly but surely, distanced ourselves from the Nature we are innately a part of; from our true self. The ecosystem of our human body, reflects the ecosystem of our depleted soil. We artificially fertilize instead of using crop rotation and the barren soil is not given a rest. Abused over-farmed soil struggles to produce nutrient rich foods. These are then often harvested too early, shipped over long distances, and processed, to the further detriment of their nutritional value. As blind to the electro-biological properties of our foods as we are to our own, after genetically modifying and spraying toxic pesticides on them, they are refined, sterilized, pasteurized, gassed, irradiated, contain harmful additives... These processed foods are convenient for the seller but not for the buyer in the long- term. By the time we eat them, they have little life force to give us.
